PISTACHIO PUDDING
CRUST INGREDIENTS
| 1/2 cup (1 cube) |
butter, softened |
| 1 cup |
flour |
| 2 tsps |
sugar |
| 1/2 cup |
chopped nuts |
Combine mixture and press into 9x13 pyrex. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool.
LAYER 1
| 1 8-oz pkg |
cream cheese, softened |
| 1/2 cup |
powdered sugar |
| 1 8-oz or 12 oz ctn |
cool whip, divided |
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup cool whip, using electric mixer. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust.
LAYER 2
| 2 3-oz pkgs |
instant pistachio pudding mix |
| 2-1/2 cups |
milk |
Combine pudding and milk with electric mixer for 2 minutes, until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese mixture.
TOPPING
- Remaining cool whip
- Chopped nuts
This is a nice St. Patrick's Day dessert.
